Regardless, I’m probably going to dump Kubuntu. It was *really slow*, but it worked! And I guess Waterfox’s unofficial Ubuntu PPA stopped working, but that’s on Waterfox and the PPA maintainer, not Mint. (d) I’m a lazy old bastard who’s set in my ways … which is the *real* reason.Īctually, my experience with Linux Mint has been going really well, with a couple of major exceptions: I never succeeded in networking with my Windows computer using Samba or with my Kubuntu computer using SSH.
